Reporting to the Senior Contract Manager an opportunity has become available for a Performance Improvement Manager- Responsive Maintenance Works role to drive best practice across NSW Landing & Housing AMS Contract to ensure the Responsive Budget is within target. This role requires analytical experience in a large volume and reporting environment with strong experience in also change management.

     

    The responsibilities of the position include:
    •    Lead the ongoing improvement of Responsive processes and reconciliations/reporting
    •    Further integrate newly engaged robotics project into these processes and help deliver associated reporting/savings in partnership with contract team
    •    Continue with the further integration and measurement of Project Iris enhancements ensuring maximum contract savings and client deliverables (Responsive Cost Control reducing exposure to Pain/Gain Model)
    •    Work with Management and operational delivery team to integrate any associated reporting - process changes identified into the contract
    •    Manage the Team to ensure the audit regime is being followed, appropriate corrective / preventive action is applied and that effectiveness of resolutions is measured.
    •    Provide support to staff and subcontractors to ensure that the AMS Maintenance Contract Commercial Model and Work Requirements are adhered to.
    •    Collaborate with the Management Team, other contract personnel, client and call centre to assist with the development of appropriate training and education material for staff and subcontractors.  
    •    Manage the  trends analysis process to ensure that high-risk and recurring trends  in service delivery are identified and management controls are put in place in coordination with the operations team.
    •    Oversight of all compliance investigations as directed by the Senior Contract Manager and ensure timely and accurate reporting is achieved.

    The person we are looking for will have:

    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS/BEHAVIOURS
    •    Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Finance/Commercial/Analyst/Operations roles 
    •    Experience within the construction or facilities management industry preferable

     

    TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
    •    High Volume/Complex Analytics 
    •    Internal Stakeholder management
    •    Finance process understanding – strong commercial acumen
    •    Ideally contract experience with operational delivery understanding on responsive and planned works programs
    •    Understanding of Subcontractor management process
    •    High level Excel skills
    •    Ability to drive change and influence stakeholders (ie strong personality)
    •    Ability to understand complex commercial models 
    •    Excellent class problem solving skills, report writing and data analytical skills
    •    Experience and ability to give presentations to a varied audience
    •    Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    •    Awareness/understanding of safety management systems, standards and legislations as they relate to the construction &/or facilities management industry
    •    Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
