- $32.04 per hour (Trainee), $45.26 per hour (Qualified) + 9.5% superannuation + Salary Packaging available
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Child, Youth and Family Worker who is experienced in providing case work, therapeutic group work and community support work, or studying towards a qualification and who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and their families.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently seeking applicants to fill a vacancy for either a fully qualified Child, Youth and Family Worker (FMHSS) or a Trainee that is currently working towards a qualification for our Family Mental Health Support Service in the Western Region. The FMHSS Program assists children and young people, with emerging mental health issues, and their families, to improve their mental health outcomes later in life.
This role will either be Permanent Part-Time for the qualified role, or Fixed Term Part-Time, 30 hours per week, for a period of up to 12 months whilst the Trainee is completing their Traineeship.
This position will provide a range of high-quality casework, therapeutic group work and community development services to children, young people and their families who are at risk of, and affected by, mental illness.
This position will be primarily based in Cobar, however travel within the region will also be required and will require the use of your own personal vehicle, all kilometres will be reimbursed when using your own personal vehicle.
