Ideally, as our Recruitment and Administration Specialist, you will genuinely enjoy working with people, multi-tasking, taking ownership for the work you do and, helping to shape the Caritas culture. 

 
Your Role
You will be primarily responsible for managing the Caritas Australia Recruitment and on-boarding processes.  Your focus includes:
  • Managing the end-to-end Recruitment process including advertising and guiding our Hiring Managers through the Recruitment process.
  • Supporting workforce planning processes including drafting and evaluating Position Descriptions and providing advice on structural changes.
  • Providing advice on Employee Entitlements.
  • Maintaining databases and metrics to inform strategic HR analysis and decisions.
  • Providing high quality administrative support to the People and Culture Team.
 
Your Capabilities
For this role, your capabilities and experience will include:
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing Recruitment processes.
  • Well-developed communication, administration and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft programs including Work, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • The ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • An understanding of and willingness to work within the Catholic ethos.
