The Role: Maintenance Supervisor, Gunnedah, NSW

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Tarrawonga, Open Cut Maintenance team. Reporting to the Site Senior Maintenance Supervisor, this role will provide direct supervision of the daily activities of a shift of tradespeople and ensure maintenance coverage for breakdowns.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for developing and adhering to maintenance schedules, responding to maintenance queries and reports and organising, planning and scheduling of resources to achieve the above. 


Job Requirements:

Candidate Specifications

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications, experience and qualities:

  • Trade qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Sound understanding of maintenance of mining equipment
  • Previous experience using computerised maintenance management systems (Pulse)
  • Great safety awareness and knowledge
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sound analytical skills and problem solving skills
