About Bulgarr Ngaru
Bulgarr Ngaru Medical Aboriginal Corporation (BNMAC) is a community controlled Aboriginal Health Service providing a full range of general practice and primary health care services. Bulgarr Ngaru was established in Grafton in 1990 to provide Health Services to the Aboriginal communities of the Clarence Valley as a result of a Human Rights report on Aboriginal miners' exposure to Asbestos.

About the Opportunity
Bulgarr Ngaru is now seeking an Executive Officer to join their passionate team on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of BNMAC Richmond Valley Primary Healthcare services as a whole, providing support for implementing strategic and operational policy, and providing leadership and support to staff as required.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
* Facilitating the development of BNMAC organisational policies and communicating these to staff and external agencies as required;
* Supervising employees to ensure consistent, quality services and positive client experiences are delivered;
* Attending state or local forums and other events as required, on behalf of the CEO;
* Engaging with the community on relevant health or socioeconomic issues as required;
* Ensuring BNMAC is compliant with regulations and accrediting bodies by monitoring operations and initiating change if needed;
* Informing and advising the CEO of relevant current trends, issues, and healthcare activities; and
* Liaising between department heads, medical staff, and other stakeholders to establish objectives and track progress on a department and facility-wide basis.

BNMAC considers that being Aboriginal is a genuine occupational requirement of this position, as outlined under Section 14D of the Anti Discrimination Act. NSW 1977.
