We are seeking an experience Contract Administrator to join the Broadspectrum & Eastlink Alliance on a part time capacity. The successful applicant will have strong commercial and financial knowledge and experience in administrating subcontract and supplier agreements in the maintenance services and/or facilities management industries.  

 

Reporting and assisting the Contract Manager, this role will be based in Ringwood, VIC. 

 

Responsibilities of the role includes:

  • Management of subcontractor accounts in line with agreed subcontracts
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, conduct subcontractor reviews and audits and maintain subcontract register information
  • Managing tender process for maintenance services and projects
  • Negotiating and Executing Subcontract Agreements including renewal of existing agreements
  • Coordinate cross functional and subject matter expert input into supplier qualification, engagement, evaluation and management 
  • Drive consistency of good financial, procurement, contract and commercial processes across the business
  • Ensure compliance with company commercial and procurement systems, processes and procedures
  • Monitor, report & provide insight into agreed benchmarks and KPI's for the Contract.
  • Assist the Contract Manager in achieving financial & commercial objectives, business case development and accounting/reporting

 

To be successful in this position you will have the ability to work methodically with the ability to time-manage, set priorities and work to strict deadlines, as well as;

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Strong sustainability awareness and commercial acumen in development of business cases
  • Detailed understanding of subcontract conditions and relevant legislation
  • Extensive experience in a procurement, supply chain or commercial role within the maintenance services industry
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing contracts
  • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to deal with key stakeholders at all levels
  • A degree in engineering, legal or commercial discipline is highly regarded, and a procurement qualification or accreditation is desirable
