Job Description:

About your role:        
In this role, you will leverage your exceptional writing and editorial skills to produce high-quality written content that strengthens the Australia Council’s position in arts research and advocacy.

What does success look like?
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to write reports for print and digital publications
  • Reviewing and interpreting data to the Australia Council and its key stakeholders
  • Monitoring key research findings and seeking opportunities for advocacy
  • Engaging with senior internal stakeholders to develop high-quality strategic content
  • Ensuring integrity of information is maintained in the production process of Council’s corporate documents
  • Influencing consistency and accessibility in the organisation’s writing through the use of the Council style guide and Plain English 

Job Requirements:

What experience will you have?
  • Qualifications in Communications or relevant fields
  • Demonstrated high-level writing and editorial skills evidenced through work samples
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to assess priorities and meet multiple deadlines
  • Proven ability in achieving deliverables through researching, analysing, and integrating substantive data and written content
