  • Permanent, Full-time Position
  • Salary circa $73k p.a. plus super, generous flexible work options

About the Role
The People Practices Officer will partner with staff across the organisation and have a key role in providing high quality, contemporary HR service delivery. The Officer will monitor incoming queries to the People & Culture team and will respond to client groups drawing on expert knowledge of systems, processes and policies. The Officer will work with staff and Managers to creatively problem solve and help departments effectively navigate functions within the employee life cycle.
  • Work collaboratively with staff across the organisation to support the effective utilisation of HR processes and systems
  • Coordinate the administration of key HR functions including onboarding, cross-boarding and off-boarding
  • Review HR processes and practices, making suggestions for change to ensure continuous improvement
  • Actively seek out learning opportunities and engage with professional development to stay abreast with HR trends and knowledge

Skills & Experience
  • Experience in a business support role with strong administration skills
  • Experience working within a framework of process, policy and systems
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication customer service skills 
  • Ability to meet competing deadlines without compromising attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new skills, take initiative and adapt well to change
  • Demonstrated ability to take direction, determine priorities and manage workload in order to meet timelines and objectives
