Industry Engagement Senior Officer, STEM



* Full-time, Continuing position
* Salary Level HEW 6 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
* Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University



About You


The Industry Engagement Senior Officer STEM will be responsible for all administrative tasks relating to industry engagement within STEM. This will include liaison with current and new industry partners, logistical support of events, regular reporting and maintenance of databases.



The Industry Engagement Senior Officer STEM will also contribute to continuous improvement within the team and foster a collaborative team culture, proactively support team members in busier periods and act as a first point of contact for administrative queries.



This role will require good communication, stakeholder management and exposure to marketing. Daily tasks include supporting the industry engagement team, working on projects, student placement and maintaining and updating data records.



This role may occasionally be required to work non-standard hours and leave restriction may apply during peak periods.



To be successful in this position, you'll have as a minimum:



* Demonstrated communication, relationship building and negotiation skills with the ability to work collegiately with academic and professional staff, students, and external clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a demanding high-volume environment with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
* Proven project management experience and planning skills to ensure the achievement of project goals, participation targets and semester objectives

* Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to think creatively and exercise in a dynamic environment.
* Commitment to quality service delivery and sensitivity regarding confidential communications.
* Demonstrated proficiency in computer software packages with accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to learn new technical skills
