Job Description

We are looking for a sales manager to join the LinkedIn Sales Solutions ANZ team. In this role you will be working with a team of motivated sales professionals to grow our footprint in the region by developing and executing go-to-market sales strategies for enterprise customers. This role demands global collaboration, inquisitive and creative thinking, cultural sensitivity and a passion for developing great talent.


  • Directly manage a team of acquisition and/or account managers focused on generating growth business for ANZ headquartered and global accounts with a strong ANZ presence

  • Maintain a high level of retention across their teams book of business (minimal churn) and have a good understanding of the client life cycle and to motivate the team to manage to this

  • Establish trusted relationships with c-suite leaders through LinkedIn resources and industry insights

  • Support the sales teams objectives by making compelling, value-based recommendations for investments in LinkedIn

  • Develop and execute regional business plans and sales strategies, with a strong focus on growth and/or new logo acquisition

  • Work in partnership with regional sales leaders and cross-functional partners to achieve these growth and acquisition objectives

  • Coach and motivate direct reports daily and bring innovation to the sales process to help achieve our growth targets

  • Collaborate and partner closely with regional sales leaders across APAC, EMEA and NAMER and ensure regional growth in these enterprise global accounts are achieved

  • Devise tactics and strategies that can be implemented at scale to build and maintain successful customer and partner relationships

  • Focus on client success to build a pipeline and create a pool of customers that will serve as references for sales and marketing purposes

  • Work to develop and circulate the set of best practices that will serve as the foundation for this growing team

  • Be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge and do everything you can to help the company achieve its larger objectives

  • Prioritise and embed DIBs (Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging) as a lens in every aspect of our business and in leading teams and developing talent

Job Requirements:

  • 8+ years of quota-carrying sales experience
  • 3+ years of people management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in sales management
  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • Currently a Sales Manager or holding a leadership position in an employee resource group
  • MBA degree or evidence of continuous professional development
  • Experience with relevant sales methodologies and metrics
  • Experience in the SaaS space
  • Experience hiring and motivating seasoned account executives or relationship managers
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and subscription-based business sales models
  • Excellent communication, client and time management, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to evaluate sound business opportunities, resolve conflicts, close deals and meet/exceed revenue goals
