About the Opportunity The School of Information and Communication Technology is seeking applications from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people to contribute to and grow in this high-performing teaching and research environment.
This is a full-time, continuing position based at either the Griffith University Nathan or Gold Coast campuses. The successful candidate will be appointed at either Level A or Level B depending on their qualifications, skills and experience.To perform this role, it is essential that the person who holds the position be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement, under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, that applicants are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
About You To be successful within this role, you will hold a PhD or close to completing a PhD in a discipline related to the school and will have demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in contributing to teaching at the tertiary education level. The successful candidate will also have the demonstrated ability to conduct and publish quality research, with evidence of high-quality papers and national and international impact. You will be able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to contribute to the positive culture and aspirations of the School and University.
In addition to the above, skills in the following areas will be highly regarded:
- Human Computer Interaction or
- Information Systems or
- Cyber Security
Salary Range The base salary for a Level A is in the range $70,738 - $95,127 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is in the range $82,764 - $111,299 per annum.
The base salary for a Level B is in the range $100,137 - $118,916 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is in the range $117,160 - $139,132 per annum.
