* Full-time, continuing position at level HEW 7 ($92,076 - $99,667 plus 17% superannuation)

* Based in the heart of Melbourne at the RMIT city campus

About the role

The Coordinator, Strategic Capability Initiatives provides administrative and program delivery support of strategic university-wide research and innovation capability programs. This includes the coordination; administration; support; and delivery of initiatives including:

· The RMIT Vice-Chancellor's Research Fellowships (VCRF) program

· Strategic internal funding programs

· Researcher Networks

The Strategic Capability team works closely with individuals, teams, and partners across the University to achieve its goals.

To be successful in this position, you will be required to have the following:

* Must identify as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.

* Excellent administration, organisation, and time management skills, with proven ability to organise and prioritise work and complete tasks with tight timeframes, whilst maintaining attention to detail.

* High level communication, influencing and interpersonal skills that support an effective working relationship with a range of individuals and groups at different levels of responsibility.

* High level written communication skills, including preparation of correspondence, reports, advisory notes and the delivery of information sessions or other presentations

* A service excellence mindset, with a focus on delivering high quality results for the needs associated with all customers (internal and external)

* Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem-solving skills

* The ability in the use of computer software applications to enhance stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and reporting.


* A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant work experience.
