The Information Technology Services (ITS) function provides RMIT University with current and emerging Technology systems and services. About You
The Program Manager Vietnam will be working with PMO team within Vietnam supporting delivery of all ITS projects within the VN program of work including Property projects. The Program Manager supports the ITS Director VN and VN PMO team in establishing and delivering to a roadmap of initiatives that drive benefit for the University.

The Program Manager will plan, schedule, monitor and report on activities related to the program of work, to ensure that each project and/or program contributes to the overall success of the portfolio. The Program Manager will identify risks and manage issues with appropriateness of work for this program; identify interdependencies, impact on business activity, deviation from strategic aims, erosion of expected benefit, program staffing and costs.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

* Extensive Program manager experience managing ITS program of work.

* Exceptional interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external clients. Excellent attention to detail in written and spoken communications in order to identify and solve issues.

* Demonstrated experience in successfully leading Infrastructure programs and property projects, including large size asset refresh domestically and remotely at an international location.

* Demonstrate experience in successfully using Waterfall/Agile methodologies, while managing large size, complex projects with cross-functional teams.

* Demonstrated experience and ability to manage staff who are not co-located.

* Evidence of budget accountability and responsibility of $5M+ portfolios.

* Strong self-confidence and decisive ability to work independently, managing a functional area to achieve targets on time and within a budget.

* Strong vendor/ partner management capability, with an ability to negotiate contracts and SLAs for infrastructure initiatives.
