Job Description: ~~* Full-time, Fixed Term position until the 9th of November 2023 (Maternity Leave Cover) * Salary Level HEW 7 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements * Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University About You As a Coordinator, Student Transition Programs, you will work collaboratively across different RMIT departments to deliver programs that encourage integration, positive learning experiences and student engagement. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate and help manage programs, campaigns and initiatives that support and enable students to successfully transition from one stage of the student lifecycle to the next, and/or one area of the university to another. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative within their role - continuously seeking innovative methods on improving student engagement, program offerings (e.g., Orientation) and student feedback strategies. The ideal applicant will have the desire to promote a positive student culture and demonstrate excellent data analysis & reporting skills as well as project coordination and planning skills. To be successful in this position, you'll have: * Proven experience in project coordination related to improving the impact and quality of the RMIT student transition experience across key moments in the student lifecycle. * A strong track record of working with multiple stakeholders to coordinate and deliver responses and solutions aligned with academic priorities and strategic objectives. * Contribute to the design and delivery of targeted student communications pertaining to student transition programs and campaigns. * Ensure meaningful evaluation data is captured across student transitions programs/efforts and contribute to reporting requirements. * Experience in working with data to identify emerging and unmet needs and develop solutions to meet those needs, and to ensure continuous improvement. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing for a student audience. * Highly developed organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability and resilience to respond quickly to changes in requirements. * Highly developed problem-solving and creative thinking skills demonstrated in the design and delivery of improvements in the student transition experience. * Other duties consistent with the level of the position and focus on the group, as required.
